Family Pet Clinic of Redondo Beach

I take my cats here every year for their checkup and have always had a good experience. The nurses and Dr. Finger are gentle and patient with them and answer any concerns I have. They are also quick to respond to prescription questions and requests. I don't live in Redondo Beach anymore, but I think it's worth it to make the longer 30min drive to see them.

Over the course of the last 4 years, this clinic has gone from amazing to being a cash-grab, misinformed, and unwilling to provide service. They informed me of my dog's cancer diagnosis via email, then proceeded with giving her medication without authorization while I was out of the country. I found out by receiving an invoice via email. After requesting my dog's medical records, I found out about her being injured multiple times during boarding without being made aware, missing vaccination records, and mis-diagnosis. I used to rave about this place but had to seek another vet as the professionalism and overall service continued to decrease and put my dog at risk. Beware before you trust them with your animals.

Caring vet, but serious issues with follow-up and communication. The veterinarians here are knowledgeable and kind during appointments, but the follow-up care has been extremely disappointing. My dog was seen recently seen for persistent diarrhea. I followed the vet’s instructions carefully, including a bland diet, but when that didn’t help, I called back within a week to ask for medication. I left a message with the pharmacy, as instructed, and never received a return call — not that day, not the next, and not over the weekend. When I called again, I explained that my dog was still sick after nearly two weeks, but the reception team simply said they’d “let the pharmacy know.” There was no urgency, empathy, or real action. Family Pet Clinic of Redondo Beach is a great place to take my Kingston! They are always thorough and discuss options for my little guy. I love their care, the reminders I get and their expertise!

10/10* After searching and searching for the right place for my dog Bella, I finally found Dr. Pasallo and her clinic — and I couldn’t be happier. Everyone there is so kind, and all the vets are truly knowledgeable. They’ve helped me so much with Bella’s care and health. My experience has been absolutely wonderful, and I honestly don’t think I could’ve found a better place for her. I’m very grateful for everything they’ve done for us! ... The only sad part is that they’re not open on weekends — I really wish they were!
