Fair Haven Pet Grooming

The place looked clean and functional. Aside waiting for 22 minutes after the scheduled time, I did not have any problems with the nail clipping. The problem I had was the way my dog was treated. My 5 month old puppy is slightly skittish, but will listen to basic commands especially for treats. This person did not adhere to my requests to tell the dog to “come” or walk (“let’s go”) and simply dragged her across the floor to the back room. My puppy was crying the entire time and clearly very uncomfortable. I’ve never heard her cry before this experience, she is typically a very mellow dog. I won’t be returning.

This place may do good grooming but the customer service gets 1 star. I made an appointment a month ago, and my dog had a 9:00 appointment. When I got there, she said he’d last on the list and would not be ready til the afternoon. My dog can’t sit in the crate for even 2 hours let alone 6+ hours. He has terrible anxiety, and so my appointment at 9:00 was for nothing! I left, and will find a place that has a better bedside manner.

Fair Haven took both my dogs in the day that the owner of Jee Jack told me that he didn't want my business over honking my horn once at someone who parked diagonally across the driveway and stood outside of the car. Fairhaven did an excellent job and was a good price.

She fit us in around our work schedule, and was good with our difficult dog and gave him a great cut. Very happy to find her and will definitely be going back in the future.
