Evergreen Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital

Dr. Boutette and his assistant (I think her name is Kayla), are amazing people. They are always so sweet and caring every time I brought my bird in for a visit. Even after his passing, their compassion is outstanding. Thank you to the entire staff of Evergreen avian and exotics. You folks are the ones who make a difference in the pet world.

This will end up being the only vet I go to moving forward for my babies. My bird recently went through an accident where she flew into a wall and got a concussion. I went to a prior vet clinic that provided avian services, however it wasn't their main expertise because they didn't provide x-ray services nor did they offer medication to help with the swelling of my birds injury. While the prior vet assured me that my bird would heal overtime, it didn't seem like they did everything they could to examine my bird. Not to mention this particular clinic wouldn't allow me in the building. It was a drop off service. This place is amazing. The staff is so incredibly kind and informative. Dr. Paulette is the best vet I have ever seen, for any of my animals. They were able to squeeze me in to see my sick chicken, the same day. Dr. Paulette even gave me her personal cell number to reach out to if I needed her over the weekend while we brought our chicken home. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone.

The care staff are excellent. The office part taking care of appointments and records is a little chaotic. Somehow our rabbits got placed under a different name and it took multiple calls and visits to figure it out and get them on the correct record. In the end it was the care staff that resolved the record issue.

My rabbit would still be alive today if I had never taken my healthy rabbit to this vet. A week after the visit, she was not okay. I called in to have them look at her, and they sent me elsewhere saying not an emergency vet. Didn't even care if they hurt her and didn't check her out after possibly hurting her. After she died I received multiple phone calls. The last call from the main vet accused me of poor care that lead to her death . No sympathy, no liability, and admitted issues throughout the business i pointed out, but in no way could my rabbit have been harmed. My rabbit was so stressed during the teeth inspection I had to step in and say stop. I was told it was a liability to hold my rabbit yet that take no ownership for their fault.
