David is an excellent cat sitter. My cat - who is historically a clingy mess whenever we leave - is notably more relaxed since we’ve found David as a cat sitter and even plays with David (unheard of!). David has clear, easy, and professional processes for intake and documenting your cats’ needs, as well as for booking and payment. He will send us brief updates when we are away which is appreciated and he has extensive attention to detail, noting anything outlying such as vomit, or uneaten food. David is wonderful. When I moved to Columbia City a couple of years I was outside of my regular friends and family cat sitting circle. I was nervous about a stranger coming to care for my cats, especially somewhat asocial old guy with kidney disease. My cats took to him immediately. He didn't just feed and scoop and go. He figured out how they liked to play and be brushed and made us all feel so very happy and cared for. And when my old man kitty's kidney disease progressed David was there and able to administer meds and subcutaneous fluids when I was away. He made his last comfortable and safe. A while after my kitty passed we brought in a new rescue kitty, who was very shy of strangers. And he loved David. I highly recommend David and Encore Cat Sitting. He knows and understands cats. Y

David has been my cat sitter for Jinx and Tank for over two years now and he is the best caregiver a crazy cat lady could ask for! Tank is not the easiest furbaby to get along with but he didn’t seem to mind David when they first met (huge bonus as Tank normally greets people by hissing). I know David genuinely cares about my boys so when I’m gone I know they are being looked out for. He takes the best pictures and checks in every day. He’ll let me know if something is amiss, brings in any packages, and takes the poo with him so my place doesn’t smell when I get back. I highly recommend David to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy sitter.
