Emmitsburg Veterinary Hospital

Back in March this year in 2025, a cat wandered onto my property. I wasn’t sure if it was feral because it did not approach me. I put food out and finally in August I was able to get close. She even lassoed my Stella Artois beer. Unfortunately in October a coyote bit her on her back and she had multiple fractures. I took her to emmitsburg veterinary hospital and they gave me some options. But I know from prior experience that the bills can add up for a cat in dire straits. So I had to put the cat to sleep. But Emmitsburg veterinary hospital understood and even sent a condolences card.

We have taken buddy to Emmetsburg veterinary Hospital for his regular check ups and shots. Always a good experience. We have also had our dog boarded here for up to 10 days while we have gone on vacation. We usually choose extra playtime for him. When we come back, he is happy and well taken care of. We have used the service multiple times and plan to in the future as well.

The whole staff, drs, techs and front desk, are wonderful! Incredibly friendly and attentive! They all obviously love animals and what they do! Their actions speak for themselves! I would definitely recommend!

I recently got a cat and my experience with EVH has been amazing, the staff is friendly and helpful, it is easy to book appointments. My cat had to have a basic test ran and I got the results sent by text, super convenient! My family has been using EVH for years, I highly recommend them!

So our husky DD has seizures and last night he had an episode so I called Emmitsburg veterinarian never been. We were using Jefferson And they And they wanted us to go to their grooming place to have labs and be seen which I thought was not very professional. I want to see an actual veterinarian, not a groomer. Emmitsburg vet was able to get me in first thing This morning .was very nice very quick, very professional and recommend to family and friends.
