Had to take my dog in from accidental ingestion and they were quick, kind and informative. Abbey was by far the most best vet tech I’ve met who was very kind to me crying hysterically and my dog. She was professional the entire time and remained calm. I would def come here again.

The doctor saved my dogs life. Literally. She had pyometria, and they were available when other emergency centers said “we have no doctors on call tonight” I highly recommend them Very professional and great expertise, walked me through every possible outcome and were up front with the cost. My baby is now recouperating and I have the doctor there to thank (whose name I don’t remember because all I remember is my dog was near death)

We’ve been here three times and everyone has been really understanding and kind. Our dog HATES the vet and gets extremely aggressive when shots are needed. Even though it’s a horrible stressful situation, the folks here remain really understanding and professional. They let me ask a ton of questions and are great at handling nervous dog parents.

This is a long overdue review of my experience with the amazing veterinary staff here. In September, my cat Luna experienced a medical emergency resulting in a need to have to make the decision to put her to sleep. She had been experiencing some health issues for a few months prior that were being managed by her regular vet when the situation turned dire one morning and a rush to the emergency vet had to be made. Our regular vet at Elmhurst Animal Care Center called ahead to let the staff here know of the situation. They welcomed my husband and our cat Luna, with open, compassionate arms. They waited until I could arrive from work in Chicago before any decisions were made. We never felt rushed or like a burden. If you ever feel the need to go here, make sure it isnt after 4 am because if you do, a tech will come take your pet's vitals and then will tell you that the doctors on staff are clocking out at 6 so you will see the doc coming in at 6. Not exactly emergency care. Also, a very stupid couple let their dogs off leash in the waiting area unchecked by staff and so now you have the added luxury of having your sick pet bombarded by a strange animal. Beautiful building. Garbage care.
