Emergency Pet Hospital

The staff of the Emergency Pet Hospital are always available after hours for the not so infrequent emergencies caused by our two Chihuahuas. The phone is always answered promptly and the assistants listen to your concerns with genuine empathy. It shows that they love animals and that they have one or more pets at their homes. The tests ordered are strickly necessary. The doctors discuss the findings clearly and satisfactorily. A particular thank you goes to Dr Erik Madison who shas always welcomed us with a smile at different hours of the night.

They were excellent! I hadn’t even checked in yet and they were asking how they could help my poor pup ! I was brought back to room immediately and my Cooper was brought into back for an assessment almost immediately, they were understanding of my distress and were straight forward about my options to treat him. The Dr. Madison and the techs were so sweet and understanding and very comforting to my sick pup, he didn’t even seem scared to be handled by strangers. Their efficiency and great care was Impeccable in my pup’s time of need. He’s doing well and I left feeling very comforted that he would be okay because of their great care. Their team is amazing and 10/10 recommend in an emergency !

Fortunately this excellent facility is operating in Naples! Unfortunately for me, I have had to access their services four times over the past 17 years! All four encounters have been solid, professional, issues addressed with compassion and concern. This visit was with Colt, a new member of our pack, only in his new forever home for about two months. Utility workers left chicken bones behind in the swale. I quickly got it out of his mouth, however it splintered and a few pieces were small that I swept out. If you can, please skip this place. Once we got there everything was fine, me and my mom got a room after like 10 minutes and everything went smoothly. Immediately after we saw the kindest lady who had curly hair and I believe she was a nurse and she talked to us about Charlie which is my friends dog that we are taking care of. He ate a plant he wasn’t supposed to and was throwing up so we brought him there. Soon Dr. Acosta came and at first she was nice and taking care of Charlie but then we were told to call poison control. 90$ spent so that they could be told on the steps they need to follow to help Charlie. Our 16.5 year old dog, Mango was treated respectfully and professionally by Diane the Emergency Vet on staff. She provided many options to determine the cause of his seizure. We opted to see our regular Vet to determine next steps.
