Elite Canine

Long story short, we cannot recommend Elite and Geralyn enough. Here are some of the reasons why: Elite Canine was recommended to us by the breeder of our two miniature schnauzers. The breeder is also a trainer, and Geralyn at Elite is the ONLY trainer she recommends. Our experience has been 100 stars. We started with both pups completing the Puppy Starts class, which is highly recommended for first-time and experienced dog parents. Our pups have very different personalities, and the whole experience has helped them both become well-socialized with both humans and dogs. We have joined almost all Yappy hours hosted by Elite: this supervised socialization is a blast for the pups, and their confidence has grown so much! I must say, Yappy Hour has also been a very positive experience for us

Over the past few months my newly adopted chihuahua mix, Betsy, has graduated from Elite Canine’s “Puppy Stars” and “Take The Lead” series of classes. Geralyn has been great with helping me and Betsy learn the ropes. She recommended up front that Betsy start with the Puppy class because of her small size and her shyness. That was definitely the right call! Geralyn has been top notch, enthusiastic, patient and caring. Would highly recommend her classes. She also offers to her clients Saturday morning Yappy Hour at Tuckers Tap yard which has tremendously helped Betsy come out of her shell.

Elite Canine and Geralyn are excellent! Callie Mae has been with Geralyn for 9 months, started with puppy class and we are working toward Canine Good Citizens. Geralyn was recommended by my vet Reynolda Veterinary - force free training is the best! Geralyn understands what I need from my dog - I need a service dog and that is Geralyn’s focus with me and Callie. Geralyn loves the dogs and they love her - she knows the name of every dog she meets. She understands each owner and dog unique needs and works with you to create a great living environment with your pet. And Yappy Hours are wonderful! Dogs playing, people petting dogs and talking about dogs! Pure happiness… I highly recommend Elite Canine Training!

Elite Canine in Winston-Salem is absolutely fantastic! Geralyn is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about helping both dogs and their owners succeed. Her group classes are great — she makes sure every dog gets attention and guidance. I love that she not only works with the dogs, but also teaches owners how to continue the training at home. If you’re considering group training classes, I highly recommend Elite Canine. Geralyn truly cares and it shows in the results! 🐾

We’ve enjoyed group, semi-private, and private sessions—and our dog loves being off-leash at Yappy Hour!
