Effingham County GA Animal Shelter

Effingham County Animal Shelter was my lifesaver today!!! Traveling with my mom who has dementia was not easy but you willingness to help in our time of need made our travel through your county a little bit easier!!!

We adopted a beautiful cat named Oliver. The shelter was very clean the animals were taken care of very well. The staff was very friendly and really love the animals. The animals have all their shots and Olive is very well behaved. Please go adopt a Pet!

Adopted my sweet baby from here almost three years ago! She was well loved by the staff and seemed to be well taken care of. The employees all seem to love animals and want them to go to loving homes. It IS a kill shelter though, so if you’re planning on dropping a pet off, I would take them to Savannah instead.

They were great in helping locate a dog that we found. Helped me get ahold of owners and even wanted extra info making sure dog was safely home

I called about a dog that barking all day and at night. This owner lives next to Green Peace RV park. The person who I talked to said to call the police... I guess when the dog dies, then there's no problem. Thanks for no help. Good luck dog.
