Edgewood Veterinary Hospital

This is a Clinic, not a hospital. So far, our interaction has been, we have been OVERLY pleased with the doctors at this office. The DOCTORS have been great with our pup, especially Dr. Moffa and Dr. Wright-Weichert. BUT, the Front Desk staff leaves A LOT to be desired. At least the one I have had interaction with that sits at the window, greeting patients. Our FIRST visit there, while waiting to be seen, I observed a VERY distraught dude (we're talking crying) that brought in his pet cat (an emergency), and instead of helping him, all she would say was "Do you have an appointment? You need to schedule an appointment". I get it is appointment only, but damn, at least if you, as a clinic, may not be able to squeeze someone in, at least help direct him where to go. Our dog Stella, who is 16, was scheduled for an end of life appt with Edgewood Animal Hospital to help with pain management in her final days. As a result of that appointment our dog is not only fully functioning but thriving again. We cannot thank this place enough as they honestly saved our dogs life by finding out the root problem and resolving it to restore all functionality in our dog.

Be carful, very dishonest. They told me if we brought the kitten back we would only be charged for the shots and not the examine since we already had it done about a month or so ago. We were there for not even 5min and they charged us for the exam. When we told them the vet didn't examine our cat we were barley in there and just got the two shots they called us liars and demanded payment. I said i'll pay for the exam if we actually get an exam. They yelled more insisting it was done and how we are liars and need to pay our bill. We paid it to just leave... with money we didn't even have. we were promised to only be charged for the two $15 shots. So, $30-40 turned into $140. Now our grocery money is gone. We will never return.

My dog went here to 10 years. 10 freaking year and when I call to tell them my dog is sick and all details they say sorry can't see him to the 10th or 11th. My dog was weak and could hardly walk called the Animal Emergency Hospital got in with them. To find out that he has life threatening diabetes, enlarge liver, prostate issues, 105 temp, arthritis, eye problems and chipped hip/pelvis bone. The arthritis and eyes are understandable. The chip in hip/pelvis is understandable too because he was weak and couldn't really jump. We had to put him down since this vet never searched for diabetes something that is by what the Animal Emergency Hospital said common in his breed! Never going here they are money greedy people! If you don't know your doing get out of the vet work and let people who act
