Edgar And Ivy's Cat Sanctuary

I want to start by saying that we LOVE our kitten. We adopted him from Edgar and Ivy, he is a member of our family, and we adore him. But I must warn others of our experience specifically with their dishonesty about ringworm. I saw another review on this page that recounted an identical experience to ours, and I have to say something. When we first saw our kitten, we knew we wanted to bring him home, but I immediately noticed he had what looked like ringworm on his ears and toe pads. I called the shelter, voiced that I wanted to adopt him, but wanted him to be treated for ringworm first. We have other cats, and I’ve dealt with kitten ringworm before. It is a nightmare. I adopted a kitten from them last week and they are absolutely amazing and made the process SO easy! They also emphasized that they are here for the LIFE of the kitty so if something happens later on, they welcome them back with open arms. I am loving my sweet baby Posh Spice (aka Sylvie) so so SOOO much. She has got so comfortable so quick and I couldn’t be happier ❤️

My daughter and I really enjoy volunteering here. In the handful of times we’ve been, she hangs with the kitties while I help with other duties. Everyone who works here is super nice and it’s obvious they all truly care for the cats. E&I’s is our favorite non-profit that helps the kitties…they take in many that other shelters won’t take in, or would otherwise be euthanized. Many of the ones in their care are sick and undergoing some sort of treatment or recovery from a treatment they provided.

I found this beautiful baby kitten under a car at work trying to survive the heat. She couldn't even open her eyes. We tried calling so many places to get this baby some help and Edgar and Ivys were the only ones kind enough to help this poor soul. These are incredible people that truly just want to help and protect these beautiful creatures.

Thank you for being amazing, taking care of all these beautiful animals, we adopted these brothers and they are at there new home and loving it. Amazing cuddles and fun playful attitude.
