One year ago we found a lump on our dog and since she is a very senior large dog we thought we should go minimal but as the months went by and the tumor got bigger she still showed fight. So we had consults with an oncologist. After diagnoses we were recommended to eclipse. From the time we went in to surgery we felt so taken care of. No judgement from the team despite my guilt for not doing anything sooner. They took care of Charley she had her huge tumor removed. After a quick visit back to the city we went back there feeling like there was only one option after surgery which was chemo. We met Dr. Baez and she sat with us for about an hour laying out all our options and costs and where we can save money, unlike the previous Dr who was very cut and dry. This was my first time at this facility, and it left a lasting and deeply grateful impression. Not only did the team take exceptional care of my dog during his emergency surgery, this was the only one of three hospitals willing to take him immediately. The others wanted to delay surgery and treatment until after the President’s Day holiday, despite the situation being clearly communicated and agreed upon as an emergency. This facility admitted him in less than 24 hours. From start to finish, the level of care, communication, and compassion was remarkable. Every step of the process was explained to me with patience and care. Every time I called with questions, they were answered thoroughly and genuinely. They even added me to a text thread where they shared an update and a photo of my dog

From the moment we walked in on Christmas morning until we left four hours later, the staff the doctor everyone was tremendously understanding, compassionate, and didn’t act like they wanted to be anywhere else for that moment. Although emergency care is never inexpensive, the whole staff did what was necessary in a logical fashion, and until a decision could be made. They made sure we understood the diagnosis and the prognosis and let us know they would be there for any next steps if it was needed. Ultimately, we were able to go home with our dog Jasper for a few more days. I have a bad habit of only leaving bad reviews, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences at eclipse so I wanted to share. My dog Summer had luxating patella surgery w/ CCL repair in July 2025 with Dr. Miller. Yes it was very expensive but I think it is important to have this surgery done with a specialist. Summer had a complicated case due to an old femur fracture and she’s had a great recovery. Dr. Miller saw her back for a few follow ups and that was all included in the surgical cost. Most recently I had another procedure done for Summer on a different area (paw) also from complications from being hit by a car in the past—but I had this done at a primary vet. When Rusty, my 7 yr old mal-shi was diagnosed with kidney disease, we were completely heartbroken and overwhelmed. From our very first visit with Dr. Redern at Eclipse Veterinary Hospital, we felt supported in a way that is hard to put into words. Dr. Redern was incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every question (even the ones we asked more than once), and never made us feel rushed. During such an emotional and uncertain time, that meant everything to us. Between February and July, Rusty had multiple visits and every single time, the entire staff treated him — and us — with such warmth and care. They were gentle, understanding, and genuinely invested in his comfort and well-being. You could truly feel how much they cared.
