We had an emergency before our appointment for an annual check and East Mountain Veterinary Services took care of my baby. We had to leave him overnight but the communication from the staff was excellent. It's a bit unnerving when you call and it's always a voice recording but the staff calls you back each time in a very reasonable amount of time. You can also text a message and they get it. The prices are so affordable that it puts your pocketbook at ease and able to take care of your fur baby. I am so impressed I will bring all my animals and I don't even mind the drive from Rio Rancho, it is worth it!

The team and doctors at East Mountain vet are amazing! We took our kitty Cleo in on an emergency basis and they were able to help her! She was there for a few days and the cost for her stay and treatment was very reasonable. We won’t go anywhere else now. They give amazing care and attention to all the animals they treat. I just want to share how incredibly thankful I am for East Mountain Vet. We’ve been through a rollercoaster with veterinarians over the years, and I honestly didn’t realize how life-changing the right vet can be until now. My dog had a very severe case of pancreatitis. Our regular vet treated him passively and only gave subcutaneous fluids, and he continued to get worse. Out of desperation, I called East Mountain Vet on a Saturday and even though they had never seen him before and I live 40 miles away, they got him in on an urgent-care basis that same day. I couldn't ask for a better veterinarian he came out to see one of my pot belly pigs that is very sick it was even on a Sunday that he came out because he had an emergency on the day that my appointment was scheduled so this would have been the second time that he has been out to care for my animals and he remembered all of them my dogs remembered him and they're a little slow maybe about getting test results back to you but I can't say anything bad about Lane or his team they are all very knowledgeable they do the best that they can do I would not go to any other veterinarian anywhere rarely do you find veterinarian that will come out and have most of the equipment that he needs on the truck
