East Lansing Veterinary Clinic

Our dog had surgery here. They were quick to respond to any concerns we had. They explained everything they did. Our normal vet does not do surgeries. I would consider moving all my vet care here if our current vet (who comes to our home) ever stops practicing. The staff are very nice. The process of staying in the vehicle until they are ready to see you is actually nice. We have a reactive dog and it makes the process so much lead stressful.

Could not recommend Dr. Howe and ELVC more. Despite normally being sweet, my cat is horribly behaved at the vet. She refuses to come out of her cage, hisses, and growls. We will certainly use a prescription anti-anxiety medication next time so all involved parties are more at ease but despite my cat being horrible on the first visit, Dr. Howe remained extremely calm and gentle. 7-10 days after the visit, I was also very impressed that the staff emailed me to follow-up on my cat's vomiting issue. After I responded with some questions about care, Dr. Howe answered and provided several suggestions. I will definitely continue my cat's care here!

The entire team is outstanding!!! We love and trust them with our Lulu. Bella is always so helpful as is Shannon. Dr. Rachel is so helpful and really gos above and beyond every visit (of which there are many). Thank you!!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff at East Lansing Veterinary Clinic. One of my dogs, Liberty, is a senior Newfoundland with mobility challenges, and every visit the team goes above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and well cared for. Dr. Rachel has been amazing at finding solutions to help Liberty live her best life, and her compassion truly shines through. Every single staff member is friendly, caring, and makes both me and Liberty feel completely at ease. Their kindness and dedication mean the world to us, and I can’t recommend East Lansing Veterinary Clinic enough!

I have two sweet cats that I have been taking here for a little less than a year and have never been disappointed. The staff are all so helpful and lovely and make me feel so reassured with all my questions about my cats. Dr. Howe is so amazing with my one cat with anxiety/behavioral issues and gives such great advice, while being sure to explain everything and make sure I understand. For excellent pet care, the prices are reasonable. I recommend this place highly.
