Great experience and the owner was super helpful and quick to respond to texts and calls. The shop has a very cool organic vibe and so may not be a good fit for a high maintenance, fussy big box generic pet store type of customer who needs a lot of attention. It looked to me like the owner is dedicated to his animals and puts their welfare first, which is the way it should be. I've had nothing but good experiences here and can only imagine how much time and effort it takes to keep all the different types of exotic animals happy and healthy. I read some of these whiny comments from a few unhappy customers and I think that they probably got what they gave and may not be taking into consideration circumstances involved in operating a specialized shop like this one.. try a little kindness

Probably a good business, but who actually knows. Good Google Reviews and pictures show a good selection of animals and supplies. Accidentally called the business at 5am while trying to save the number for later. One ring, saw my mistake, hung up. Thought that was the end of that. 10am comes, and I get a series of annoyed texts about the 5am call. "Who calls a business at 5am and expects a response?" Asked who I was, tried to identify me, etc. Ok, well, damn... no benefit of a doubt, just a jump to a conclusion that I was calling to harass a business. Already hard to find decent reptile places around this area, and this is my first impression with an actual local business. I called about a potential sale of bearded dragons which turned into a third degree and beyond. It wasn't that he wanted to school me at what i might me doing wrong he decided that instead he would yell and scream telling me I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm not opposed to suggestions that would better my husbandry but I don't need mussalinni explaining husbandry from 60 years ago. Hey, whatever works for you. I enjoy being a customer here and its always nice to talk to John and learn some new things. He is very helpful and always willing to get products that you need promptly. Owner is friendly and helpful, and appears to take great care of the animals in his shop. We bought 2 pet rats, Simon and Teddy, and are very happy with our new pets.
