I wanted to let the HPASPCA know of the passing of our beloved Bella, adopted from your facility on 12/27/2019. She was the best dog and was our beloved fur baby. Her passing on 10/2/2025 was sudden and we are still in shock. I wanted to let you know that we are thankful for everything that you do for the community and for caring for all of the animals that you serve. Was looking for a place to cremate my dog, and saw on the website that cremation services were available 7 days a week. However, after driving an hour with my deceased dog, when we got there it was closed. Gave three stars because the volunteers that were there were very friendly and helpful, however I would ask that the site please change their hours to reflect the fact that cremation is not in fact open 7 days a week.

Recently adopted a pet from them. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The facility was clean and the animals looked to be well taken care of. Thank you again for Elvis.

I have adopted pickles and Buster on November 11 they are the most sweetest two cats. It didn’t take them long to warm up within three days. They were walking around my house but now their names are baby Buster and peanut for pickles and they get along with my dog, he loves them. He thinks he’s a cat. They bring so much joy to my house.

In the world of animal rescues there is a stigma going around that poor people or " low income people" shouldn't adopt solely because of status of income and finances. I have several counterpoints to this empty and biased argument : 1: If we go by this logic everyone who is low income should immediately surrender their cats and dogs. The shelters would then be further inundated with animals that volunteers would have to take care of in addition to the massive amount of donations required to take care of these animals. 2: If everyone who was low income did not adopt the cats and dogs are much more likely to suffer in addition to being euthanized. Essentially, anyone who disagrees with low income people not adopting is furthering the suffering and killing of these animals that would otherw
