Dubey's Pet World

I'm a frequent flyer and a serial buyer. The staff has always been helpful and courteous and has been very forgiving of my impulse control or lack thereof when it comes to me disregarding the "do not open enclosure" signs that are on said enclosures. They have an amazing selection of animals to appeal to everyone. 10 out of 10 I recommend. This carpet python is one of the many snakes I've gotten from dubeys over the years.

After my very first visit, I knew Dubey’s was going to be my new spot for my bearded dragon, Groot and all his needs. The service is on point, there are a bunch of folks in there to answer your questions, grab you crickets or roaches, etc. There’s also a ton of variety of exotic animals; it’s kind of nice to just walk around and look/talk to all of the different animals. Does it smell like pets in there? Yep, it’s a pet shop. And Definitely the best pet shop I’ve been to locally. So I’ll be back! ✌️

This place has the largest selection of tropical birds that I have ever seen in NC. They are all beautiful and well taken care of. They have so many varieties you will have a hard time choosing! The staff is also very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

This store has a lot of different animals. The macaws are beautiful. However, they need their beaks and nails trimmed very badly. There were a couple of birds at the front in too small of a cage. The fish tanks could use cleaning. We were greeted by a sweet dog. I will say the employees were very friendly and helpful.

They had a great selection of ferrets and other unique animals, which I really appreciated. However, I was disappointed to find out my ferret was misgendered, and the $25 food recommended to me turned out to be generic cat food. The cage I purchased was also missing parts, and they would not honor a return. I think there’s room for improvement when it comes to accurate information, product quality, and customer follow-up.
