Dr. DiRusso

We were so fortunate to have Dr. DiRusso care for our beloved 15-year-old Rottie-Sharpei mix, Blake, during the most difficult weeks of his life. From the start, he stayed in regular contact with my sister, checking in often and even working with us late into the evenings to make things work for our schedules. His dedication and compassion were truly above and beyond anything we expected. As Blake’s health declined, Dr. DiRusso remained closely involved. One evening, while he was out to dinner, he even offered to meet us at his home just to check on Blake—that level of commitment is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of person and veterinarian he is. Dr.Di Russo is the best! He is so caring and compassionate. My Frenchie needed a growth removed on his cheek, eyelid and leg and Dr. Di Russo went above and beyond to make sure he was cared for. I was so nervous because he had never been under anesthesia before. I was ready to cry before I left and Dr. Di Russo’s exact words were “ don’t worry I will treat him as my own”. Those words made me feel so much better that he was under his care. He texted me a photo after the surgery to assure me he was fine. This is not your average vet and I absolutely love that about him!

Dr. DiRusso is a kind and knowledgeable vet. He was able to see us at the last minute and really helped our cat George with some chronic constipation. George is a far more comfortable cat today, thanks to Dr. DiRusso. Highly recommend.

Dr Di Russo is an excellent and most competent vet. My cat had an emergency and he saw us in the middle of the night, no questions asked. He solved the problem quickly and efficiently. He and his wife Donna are the most caring people. They followed up daily to give me updates on my cat and even called after my cat went home to see how is everything. I will most definitely come there again and can recommend this practice to anyone.

Let me start by saying Dr. DiRusso is wonderful. But you aren’t able to speak to him unless you are in his office. Instead, you are forced to deal with his horrid receptionist. She doesn’t know a thing about animals and, furthermore, she doesn’t even seem to like animals! And she can’t seem to manage to make appointments easily. Always conflicting, inaccurate information. When speaking to my husband about our sporting dog, who was in need of some training she told my husband it wasn’t worth investing $300 into our wonderful dog! When my husband asked if she was suggesting that we put him down her response was “take it whatever way you want.” Monster! Stay away from this evil woman...there are so many loving, competent veterinary hospitals in the area! By the way, our dog is doing wonder
