Down for paws dog training was a great experience for us as well as our pup. we started when he was five months old and just recently ended due to weather issues, etc. Pamela Brown was excellent at training the trainers and we have a great control set up with our now eight month old pup. We highly recommend using her training services especially for a young pup. Her great tips and tricks as well as follow up after appointments is second to none and left us with a very secure feeling that we know how to move forward as we all grow together. I would use her again if the need ever arose.

We brought Pam in to help our two year old dog Dave with leash reactivity and jumping on people. Pam was amazing with Dave and gave us so many tools and tricks to help us deal with his behavior. She sent us summaries after every session that really helped us remember everything she taught us and stay on top of his learning. After doing a full session with Pam, Dave is now able to walk past other dogs at reasonable distance without going crazy, and he has become much more polite in how he greets people. He is so much more calm and polite now. We really enjoyed working with Pam! Dave loved her, and Dave’s older brother Topper who did not need any training himself really loved the sessions. It was amazing to see the progress for Dave (and even Topper) from start to finish. Dave h

If you want a knowledgeable trainer who will love your puppy/dog as much as you do then Pam at Down 4 Paws is perfect for you! I was a first time, black lab puppy owner. And it honestly brought me back to being a first time mom! So many unknowns, so much conflicting info on the internet, it can feel so overwhelming while you are also filled with such love for these precious pets. I needed constant guidance, reassurance, clarity and refocus and just encouragement! As new things came up daily, Pam was always quick to reply to any questions, concerns or needs I had. Her thorough wraps up, handouts, and breakdowns after our sessions were so helpful for me and for sharing with my family how we could all stay consistent and work together to help socialize and train our puppy as she grew. Pam was

I reached out to Down 4 Paws for personalized training for my reactive 3-year-old dog, Tarot. While we had tried group classes in the past, it became clear he needed dedicated one-on-one support to overcome his leash-based fear aggression toward other dogs. From our very first consultation to our final session, Pamela made us feel like family. She never once made me feel judged during our setbacks or challenges, and instead met every struggle with genuine empathy, compassion, and encouragement. After each session, she provided detailed wrap-up notes and actionable homework, always reminding me to stay positive even when progress felt slow. Even though Tarot’s training package has officially ended, I continue to feel supported. When he recently underwent TPLO surgery, I worried about his

Pam helped us so much with our rescue pup's separation anxiety. Through our program she has provided clear and personalized guidance and always sent detailed & helpful session notes. She is very mindful of incorportating dog training into our busy life which makes it easier to follow through. We are very proud of our pup's progress (from screaming his head off to 1hr quiet time), thanks to Pam's training!
