We can't say enough about Steve and his team at Domestic Dog Training are so glad we sent our new 2-year old rescue for two weeks of day training. Miss Skye had no idea how to walk on a leash, pulled hard and needed help with a few other behavior issues. We saw changes immediately after the first day and she quickly learned the commands. After receiving our own lesson we are continuing her training each day and very happy dog owners. We look forward to bringing Skye back to board in the future. Highly recommend!

I brought my German Shepherd Floyd for a couple of nights in August. His stay included daily walks and a come home bath. The facility was very clean and the owners and staff extremely friendly. I felt at ease leaving my dog there. When I went to pick him up he was still being dried from his bath. He was just a little damp when I got him which was fine with me. I shortly got a message saying they would refund$20 because he wasn’t completing dry. I was really pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this kennel and will definitely be bringing my dog back again in the future. This is an excellent kennel and facility.

We liked this Tuesday evening training we brought both the 6month puppy and the 3year old stubborn knucklehead. Within the first session we gained tools that work for both dogs. “heel” “sit” Great place! Nice people! Nice other clients & pups. Amazing!! I was looking for a two week board and train for my foster (soon to be foster fail). Although she has always been a sweet baby, she had her "quirks"...like screaming, highly distracted and fence fighting. This was nothing I had expected a miracle for, especially in two weeks. I am blown away with her progress. I had checked out another place in state and felt "meh" about it. I am SO happy we checked out domestic dog because even with just a meet and greet I learned a few things and felt 100% comfortable leaving my baby here! I came to pick my girl up and she showed zero reactivity to other dogs and learned so much and has yet to let out her raptor scream. I can't recommend them highly enough! We had been looking to add a dog to our family for quite some time, but were hesitant as both my son and cat were quite fearful of dogs. As soon as I met Steve and he put our puppy in my arms I knew it was the right fit. At just 9 months she has incredibly good manners, and is fully house and crate trained. The transition was easy and Steve was very helpful with any questions. If you're looking to add a dog to your life or develop some better manners for your current dog, this is the place to go!
