We love the care and attention provided to all of our animals at Dogwood. From young puppies to elderly cats, they have gone above and beyond for our babies. We love the convenience of the location but it is the commitment to care that keeps us coming back.

I found this vet online because it was closer to our home since we moved. I made my dog an appointment to get a second opinion on her itchy/licking paw problem. So I had an appointment they canceled and then rescheduled it which was whatever. Then I explain to them on the phone and sent pics via email about what was going on and then when I get there I tell the vet tech what was going on and everything I have already done and been doing for my dog. The vet comes in and acts like I’m completely clueless as to what my dog has going on. She didn’t look over none of the notes I told them over the phone/email and in person and didn’t look at no pictures I sent in. Because I asked her did she not see the pictures and everything I already sent and told them and she said no she didn’t. So commun

I lost my Lizzy on Sunday afternoon. She was in so much pain and her vet couldn’t see her until Monday morning. I wasn’t their patient, but the compassion they showed will always stay in my heart. They found a way to work me in and helped my old girl go out with dignity. She was my first baby, before my husband and kids, and for it to be one of the hardest days of my life, they really cared. I will forever recommend them to anyone and I will always remember how compassionate they were about easing my mind in this difficult decision.

I cannot thank the doctors and staff at Dogwood Vet enough for their incredible kindness during the hardest day of my life. When it was time to say goodbye to Princess they handled the process with such gentle care. They never rushed us, gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye and made sure she was comfortable and loved until the very end! Your compassion made an unbearable day feel safe. We have always received exceptional care at Dogwood Veterinary from both of their wonderful veterinarians and team. They approach each case with care and compassion and take time to get to know every patient and their needs. As a small vet clinic that is private and woman owned, I have loved the comfortable and small practice feel. One of my pups needed hospice care after diagnosis of a cancerous tumor, and all of my questions were answered with patience when the diagnosis was such a surprise. My other pup receives acupuncture every other week for severe arthritis and, along with medication management, it has made a big difference for her. I also have a pit mix with extreme anxiety, and her first exam visit was the first time ever that she walked on her own in the back of the clinic. As
