Our family couldn’t be happier with the puppy training experience we received from Rob Miller at Dogwood Kennels and Cattery. From day one, Rob was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly encouraging. We brought our healthy beautiful dog on Monday September 15th and picked him up on Saturday September 20th. I did not get any report cards, I called to find out how he was doing and was told he was fine. I was told that same thing when we pick him up. He could not poop and would not eat when we got him home. I thought maybe just being in the kennel was the reason. He was up all Saturday night feeling as if he had to go poop. By Sunday , I knew something was not right. I brought him to the vet first thing Monday morning and he had several X-rays and tests. They said his stomach was empty and could not see anything in his colon. They gave me medicine and he started throwing up and could not keep anything down. On Tuesday, my dog died. We had a great experience with Rob during our training sessions with our new dog Maggie. He was very informative & worked well with Maggie. We also boarded Maggie there & she did very well. They were very good with her & she got to run & play with other dogs. We used their grooming service & Maggie looked clean & nice from her trim when we picked her up. We will definitely be using Dogwood Kennels again in the future.

Dogwood is the only place we trust with our elderly, special needs dogs. They are patient, kind and love them as if they were their own. Even with the extra time and attention they require, the staff at Dogwood never make it seem like they're a burden, and we know they will be well taken care of.
