DogTown

We live on the road so use self dog wash stations a couple times a month. This is the absolute worst one we've ever been to. I should have turned around and left when we walked in and saw how filthy it was, but my dog was really itchy so he really needed a bath. First of all none of the products like shampoo, conditioner, ect actually dispense. Its just water. Luckily we brought our own soap and towels. We took up half the time we paid for waiting for it to get even a tiny but warm so we didn't freeze our dog. It still never did get warm enough. The water came out in 1 tiny stream that you couldn't even directly put on your dog because it just splattered back at you and everything around you. We cupped our hands and poured minute amounts on him and still never got him rinsed. We kept putti

So much space for my girl to get out some of her energy! Friendly people, nice cement sidewalk where I can walk around the park while she plays, plenty of water for the dogs ( 3 free standing water faucets in the large dog park ) and a shade covered picnic bench. Only thing that sucks is there are stickers.

My dogs enjoyed the place. Had fun running around playing fetch and getting in the water. Then we took them in and gave them a bath. The dryer makes a high pitch sound that spooked the dogs though.

Two areas for small and large dogs. Water is available as well as water bags. Park does have the sand burrs, but not nearly as bad as other parks I have visited. My beagle played fetch without issues. There is a pet wash station. Large dog area also has a paved sidewalk that loops around it, so two-legs can get their steps in too. I would visit this park again.

Best place in town to take your dogs, pups, or yourself to stretch your legs, get a little exercise and keep a healthy relationship with your pet. A great place to let a dog just be a dog 🐕 😊
