Dogs Go Hiking

My husband and I recently moved to Cohasset from downtown Boston and we were in need of a reliable dog walking service for our fur baby during the week while we were at work and to get his energy out. He is a 2 year Bernedoodle who still has the energy of a puppy! Dogs Go Hiking was recommended to us and we couldn’t be happier with them! They are extremely communicative with when we can expect his pick up/drop off so we know that he is well taken care of and they are always very responsive and flexible with any scheduling changes that we request. Our pup is taken on amazing hikes throughout the area and the highlight of our days are the great pictures that they send to us. I cannot say enough good things about Dogs Go Hiking. The hikes are incredible and so much better than a walk around the neighborhood. Our dog gets amazing exercise, mental stimulation and socialization exploring new places. And it is extremely safe and structured- they really get to know your dog and the best way to manage them before they take them out on hikes. All the employees truly love what they do and it shows through their work, they bond with each dog and take such amazing care of them. We've used DGH for both hikes and overnight care and we just feel so lucky to have found them. It is like having another family member around to help care for your dog.

I chose Dogs Go Hiking after speaking with many other dog walking businesses in the area, so I would say I vetted them pretty well : ) For my two small dogs, I found their pricing to be very reasonable amongst others I researched, but what really stood out is their service and the reassurance I felt that our dogs would be in the best hands with their team. Amity (owner) is highly communicative which is really a relief when you’re in the midst of schedule changes, etc. What I love most is their flexibility and how happy our dogs are after going on a hike with one of their dog walkers. They leave notes when they visit, which is always amusing and fun to hear how your dogs hike was. I can’t say enough about Amity and her team at Dogs Go Hiking!

I highly recommend Dogs Go Hiking! Our rescue pup Molly loves her hikers so much and always comes home happy and tired!! They are also great helping me with leash training tips as we work on toning down Molly’s excitement a bit!

Absolutely love everyone at Dogs Go Hiking. Giles has been with the group hikes but recently switch to the shorter walks because his arthritis. All the walkers have been incredibly kind and understanding of our old man! He’s even had a sleepover and was showered with attention and treats. Would recommend all their services!
