I travel from Gulf Shores, Alabama to Dogma Academy every chance I get. Jonathan Katz and his team are amazing with knowledge, training and patience. Jonathan showed me how to improve my pups skills, along with my own. The most amazing part is he taught me how to improve my relationship with her. If you want to learn dog communication there is no better place to go.

Five stars is not enough to communicate the quality of education at Dogma Academy. I chose to drive across the country as the first “full-time” (three-month Dog Trainer immersion program) student of Jonathan Katz’s new school for dog trainers. I had been working as a professional dog trainer, at that time, for about 3.5 years, and was very successful. My clients were happy, my dogs and behavior outputs were consistent: but I felt I had plateaued and needed to expand my growth and potential to help my community. Exceptional experience every visit to Dogma!! Not just a dog training facility, this is an epicenter of dog training knowledge. I’ve attended a few seminars hosted here so I’ve had the pleasure of learning not just from Jonathan, but from other experts in the industry as well. The team is friendly, makes you feel like family, and will make sure you are well fed during your stay! I really appreciate the emphasis on the relationship between handler and dog and I’ve come a long way with mine thanks to Dogma. Can’t wait to go back!!

Dogma Academy is a great place to learn with your dog or to drop your dog off for training. They offer board & trains, private lessons, bite nights, seminars, a complete trainer course and soon will have doggie daycare on site. All of the staff is wonderful and welcoming (as are their full time students - just an extra bonus) . I've personally worked with Jonathan & Isaiah. Jonathan is a wonderful coach. He's always patient, jolly, & a wealth of knowledge. He's interested in what your goals are & listening to your thoughts on how to approach different issues or concerns you may have.
