Beware. Tammy gave Laika a "small nick" and "glued it up". The laceration was a lot worse than that. It's over a week later and I'm still changing bloody bandages and trying to keep Laika from chewing on it. Tammy bought some "liquid bandage" from CVS but it hasn't worked -- the wounds is just too open. In retrospect, I should have made Tammy take Laika to the vet; they probably would have wanted to stitch it up. Photos are of the same-day and over a week later.

Tammie takes such great care of our Silver Lab, Winchester “Winnie “ and now we won’t bring her to any other groomer, period. She’s the best and we highly recommend Tammie to anyone who loves their fur baby!

Great place, my 5mo old cockapoo Dolly went in VERY shaggy for her first cut and came out looking great. There was no matting so we were able to get the longest blade to keep her looking fluffy. Got full service for Dolly's first time, nail, bath, cut, etc, and Tammy was very nice. I was nervous for the first cut but Dolly came out happy as ever, looking fresh and smelling great (not too perfumey like some places). Tammy's setup is great; she only does one dog at a time so that when your dog is done with their cut, they can safely play in a big play area with toys and treats instead of being shut in a kennel or crate. Tammy finished quickly and I can't get over how cute the cut is! I will definitely be scheduling another appointment in the future.

Bringing my german shepherd to Tammie at Doggie Styles was 150% worth the drive from Truckee to Tahoe City. Had been taking my dog to a groomer in Truckee for a couple years but the last two grooms left me feeling semi disappointed and unimpressed. But it was convenient and still better than what I could do at home. When said groomer was booked for 2 weeks out and I was in desperate need for a last minute groom I was finally forced to look elsewhere. A blessing in disguise really, because that's when I took a chance with Tammy. My dog has NEVER looked better. Her thick winter undercoat was gone and weeks after the appointment she still looks and feels like a million bucks. Tammy does one dog at a time, and they are in and out in an hour, sharp.
