Doggie Bonez

I was referred to Doggie Bonez by a friend who had just adopted a pittie mix. I just had to put down my frenchie and my friend knew I was hurting. She asked what I would want. I wasn't ready but I told her when I was, what it is I wanted. 60 seconds later she sent me a picture of my new love. I reached out to Doggie Bonez through their Instagram profile. The owner (Jackie) called me and we chatted about dogs in general and how special they are. She then granted me permission to meet the pup. She has foster families setup all over Orange County. I met with the family who was fostering "Peach". They couldn't have been nicer people. They saw when I met her the connection was already there. They felt comfortable with me adopting her so I left with her. But not only her! Doggie Bon

My son and I love go visit on Sundays! While we have not fostered through this organization, we love the work they do and their adoption events. If we were to adopt a dog, I would absolutely consider adopting through Doggie Bonez.

I stumbled upon Doggie Bonez a couple months ago while searching for a second rescue dog to add to our family and boy was I glad I did. After reaching out via email about one of their dogs, Jackie got right back to me, along with photos, detailed info and a very approachable and enthusiastic attitude. I was touched by her story and why she got involved. A few days later, we met our special little guy at the foster's home, and couldn't be more thrilled to have met him. We've now had our puppy home with us for about a month, he's settled in perfectly with our other dog, and has become an integral part of our family. After our beloved senior dog crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this year and when we were finally ready to adopt another dog we scoured several area rescues looking for a dog that fit what we were looking for. We thought we found the one at Doggie Bonez. We initially reached out via the website asking for more info on a specific dog. After a day with no response, we filled out an application because we were serious about adopting and called to follow up. Our calls went unanswered and unreturned. A few days later we reached out via social media and finally got a response from a volunteer. However, everything is managed and run through Jackie so the volunteer offered to reach out to her. Several days later Jackie finally texted. We were so excited! She confirmed the dog was still available
