Alexandra is such an amazing dog trainer. She is so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I worked with her after adopting a 5 month old puppy who had a lot to work on. He had no prior socialization experiences and he is a high energy breed. After working with Alexandra for almost 3 months he’s in such a better place. I’m very thankful for Alexandra and all of the time she spent helping us.

I adopted my girl Phoebe from the shelter in April, and I knew getting a shelter dog would require a lot of tender love and care. I was committed to get her training and I knew that I wanted only positive reinforcement training in fear of possibly traumatizing my already traumatized dog if I tried other training methods. I did a lot of research, and unfortunately so many trainers are not forthcoming about the methods and tools they use. I’ve done a few consultations with trainers who seemed promising on their websites, only to find out they use e-collars or prong collars, which I did not want for my girl. Luckily, I stumbled upon Alexandra. Her whole program is virtual, which I wasn’t sure about at first, but the training I’ve received has been more valuable than any of the in-person sess

Alexandra was really great to work with. She’s very patient with our puppy who bites a lot. Her techniques are very positive and he learned very quickly!

Our pup had been doing great in the training we were doing ourselves but then developed a habit of barking at passerby's out our window and also would occasionally bark and lunge at passerby's when on a leash. Alexandra took time to understand Beau's challenges and gave us a clear plan on how to improve his behavior. She was able to explain the reasoning behind everything so we got a really strong understanding. He's not perfect yet but we've seen a huge improvement in his barking and reactivity! We'll definitely book another session soon to keep up with his new skills. We'd recommend her to a friend!
