Dog House Boarding Kennels

The Doghouse Boarding Kennel has been our go-to place for more than 8 years. Our dog is a rescue — she’s sweet but has her challenges — and the staff at DBK has been amazing and flexible and so wonderful to her. As everyone says, a dog is a member of the family, and we trust the friendly crew there for all they do to keep her safe and happy.

We have left our three little puppies with this can all be before and never had any problems. The schedule for my puppies to eat dinner is at 5 to 6 PM every night they go potty and then they are in their kennel by 9 PM. We have never had a problem with them going potty in their kennel ever. We went to pick up our three puppies. They were covered in poop and we were told that we had to be charged extra because they pooped in the kennel every night.. I was under the impression. This was a dog kennel, but evidently they did not feel the need to clean up the dog poop because our dogs were covered in it. I will never take my dogs back here again. Great little place with owner on site. Smaller with personal attention to our “kids”. Quiet, country setting- with plenty of grass and fresh air when out for multiple walks throughout the day. We’ve been regular customers for years. Update: the young woman who helped us was very personable. It’s always a pleasure to work with this family.

The kennel was very clean! The owners were super nice and caring, and wanted my dog's stay to be a positive experience for her as I had just adopted her from Eau Claire Animal Shelter. She is a pittie mix - the owners were not judgmental about her breed and assured me they have a personal connection to pit bulls as their son owns one. I will absolutely use them in the future to board my Harley Quinn!

Our dogs love this place! There is so much space to run and play! I don't have to worry about Bosco and Makena getting bored. They are always happy to see the owners and give them kisses! It is so wonderful to have a place I feel comfortable with and don't have to worry about my babies when I am gone.
