Very well organized and for us they hit all the basic commands we wanted for our puppy like sit, stay, and much more. Definitely worth going but you do need to practice at home for things to work because they're not miracle workers so expect to do homework to get something out of it. Overall I'd highly recommend them.
Brandon and I took our furbaby Tony Macaroni to meet Leah and Shaun at the training studio. As a rescue, Tony has a fear response to many situations. We want to build his confidence so that he can experience greater joy in life! They sat right down on the floor, and let him take his time to come to them and get treats. He did better with walking with a leash, and just enjoyed exploring the studio. Leah gave us so much information for us to follow up with in his training. Recently, my mom was staying with us from out of town, and Tony was constantly upset when she got up to move. After several days of this, and not finding any real solution, I called Leah. She answered right away, and talked me through some things to try, while she was cooking for Christmas!!! Thank you Leah! We will contin
Hazel lived her life in a crate and when I rescued her at age 6, she looked defeated. But I saw a spark in those eyes and hoped with the right training I could build her self confidence and gain her trust. Leah’s positive teaching methods was perfect for us. I learned the best way to communicate with her, and as she learned the basic commands, she gained confidence. Classes were fun and upbeat, the dogs and owners were all very different but we laughed and cheered each other’s successes. Hazel did so well that in our last class, we won the doggie Jeopardy game! I have a happy girl now, thank you Leah!
Leah and all the other wonderful trainers we’ve worked with so far have made such a positive experience for my two dogs and me! My dogs require much different training, one being reactive and one on track for therapy work, but the tools I’ve been given in our lessons so far have made them, and me, much more confident! I look forward to training every week, and my dogs do too! Can’t wait for many more lessons to come with Leah and Dog Gone Good!!
Leah is an excellent trainer! I’ve taken Iggy there for Puppy Head Start, Leash and Greet, Manners and More 1 and now Manners and More 2. The methodology used is great; the dog stays engaged and is happy to participate and learn. Training is never smooth, and it requires work. But the results are worth it. I recommend Dog Gone Good Dog Training - especially for the pet parents.
