I don’t discount that Wayne works hard and takes care of animals; I have nothing to say about that. However, when I asked him some questions to verify this would be a good environment for my dog he claimed I was being demanding. The questions were to ensure that my dog would not be bred or sold, and instead of answering them to put my mind at ease, he said I had too many requirements, which made me very uneasy. Again, I don’t know the operation well, but I did not appreciate being spoken to in that way. He also claimed the information I requested was on the website, and after looking it over throughly, my questions remained unanswered. If you are looking for a certified non-profit who won’t breed your dog, I can’t say I recommend because he seemed very cagey about that information.
Contacted this rescue after realizing one of our former dogs ended up here. The owner of the company was rude and completely dismissive. Due to the interaction I left a bad review. He then contacted me cussing me out, and calling me horrible names as well as threatening to sue me. I have contacted the BBB and forwarded the interaction onto them. This company is run by someone highly unprofessional. I would suggest using any other recue but this one.
Our family recently adopted a dobie from Dobieville Farms. We cannot say enough good things about Wayne. He is kind, caring and one can tell by talking to him the love he has for these dogs and to do the right by them. Quick communication and a beautiful facility! We would highly recommend him and his facilities!
Wayne has poured so much love into Dobieville Farms and it shows! He has been a huge support for us in finding placement for a rescue Doberman we brought to him. His passion for these dogs shines through every facet of the farm and I have full faith he will find the right home for each one he receives (even if it means they stay at the farm)
This place is beautiful and kept immaculate! Wayne loves the dogs and is a great owner! He found my sweet boy and has helped in training him.
