Dirty Dogs Spa at Wendell

I’ve taken my dog to this facility for quite some time now, and historically, Ellie was our groomer. She always took wonderful care of Snowflake and consistently did an amazing job. Since she is no longer at this location, Snowflake had a new groomer today—and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. His haircut is significantly uneven, despite the groomer telling me she “blended him because he had a mat.” She stated he had a mat on his back, however his hair is uneven all over. Some areas are shaved down to the skin, and the cut overall looks nothing like what we requested. This is by far the worst groom he’s ever had, and I was honestly beyond dissatisfied with the job. Very disappointing experience at Dirty Dogs Spa today. I’ve been bringing my dog, Molly, here for months and have always had great experiences until today. Over the past 24 hours, I received at least five calls asking me to move my 3pm appointment earlier because mine was the last appointment of the day. I couldn’t get there earlier because of work and offered to reschedule, they declined. I dropped Molly off at 2:45 PM for her regular grooming service, which normally takes about two hours. She is a 100lb German shepherd who gets a full groom, ears, face, feet and deshed. Less than 40 minutes later, I received a call saying she was finished and needed to be picked up. A service that is consistently two hours was clearly rushed, yet I was still charged full price over $125! The new staff

Marshal did a great job with my border collie, Niko! Such a welcoming environment and Niko and I had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Leo has been going to Ellie since he was a puppy, and she worked at the Wake Forest location! We now take the 30 minute drive just to see her. She has so much patience with my baby and he loves her so much! I can always trust that he’s in good hands, and that he’s going to look amazing when she gets done!

Great place! Took good care of my dog who has awful anxiety and skin allergies. Will definitely be coming back!! She has been scratching so much less and her skin looks less irritated! Well worth the money in my opinion!
