Dickinson County Animal Clinic

We have been so grateful for the care for our dog, Jaeger, by the whole staff at Dickinson County Animal Clinic. We especially appreciated everyone who helped us through the loss of Jaeger. While it was an incurable difficult day for us, the staff was so amazing! We will miss Jaeger so much and also miss bringing him for check-ups and occasional concerns. The staff was always so helpful and friendly to us and to our dog.

It's not often that your dog enjoys a visit to the vet but Dr. Reid makes my dog's annual visit a great experience and she's happy to be there. Very thorough exams and provides all the needed information and direction to keep my dog at her best and/or to treat for an ailment. Highly recommend.

Update: 7/29/22: still my favorite vet clinic, the staff & vets are friendly, caring, answer my questions well, love my pets, and quite knowledgeable. Have boarded my 2 young pups there over weekends or daycare - the pups go right in & are happy when they come out! I highly recommend Dr. Reid and his staff for all your pet needs! 2 years ago: Friendly, helpful, cares about my pets, flexible when I was late to pick up my dog from daycare. Very reasonable price for all day daycare M-F.

We are in the area on the weekends and have run out of our dog’s medications and food, and needed a vet on Saturday’s. Dickinson County Animal Hospital has been our life saver since our senior dogs have specific food and med needs and we had to have it or would have had to drive 2 hours home for the meds. The staff are very friendly and helpful and took care of everything we needed right away, and were open on Saturday! I highly recommend them for your pet’s needs!

Our cat Mamie is recovering from dental extraction surgery and is doing quite well considering she's special needs. Dr. DenHerder always does such a great job and is so knowledgeable in his field. Very fortunate to have him as our veterinarian. Vet tech Caitlyn is absolutely awesome too. We love everyone at that clinic. Jodi, Penny and the other ladies for whom we don't know their names. The tech that drew Mamie's blood for pre-surgery blood work was just an expert at drawing blood. I don't know her name but she pricked the inner thigh just once and quickly got a draw and done before Mamie even realized anything had happened. Thank you Dickinson County Veterinary Clinic for all you do and have done for us. Eternally grateful!
