I have on several occasions met with Shannon about my animals and have only respect and appreciation for the time ,effort and understanding I've known from Dickenson County Animal Shelter. I am saying Thank You to them for all they do to help all of us that love our pets...
We recently adopted a kitten that passed through this shelter. Within 48 hours we had to rush him to an emergency vet hospital where he tested for a variety of issues. I called the shelter to obtain more information about his back history and I was told they could not help me and they don't keep information on the animals that "pass" through. Very disappointed.
no one that works here can answer questions since some of them are years old then again they close so often that no surprise too lazy to work too lazy to answer questions
Good place to vote. Everyone is very nice and helpful.
The people were wonderful and I adopted my little Chihuahua from them.
