Dicken Memorial Animal Hospital - Alison Beaulieu DVM

Absolutely amazing staff and Dr's ! I looked all over for help with a tore up stray cat and had 6 or 7 Veterinarian's turn me away. Dicken was the only animal hospital willing to help me and once he was well enough they allowed me to adopt him and helped me afford to get him the care he needed without selling my car. He's a total different cat now and is very happy being spoiled and loved on . I'll never be able to thank the wonderful team they have enough for all their help

I recognize this happened quite a while ago, but it's impacted my view of this vet and I now refuse to set foot in their building. I once had an elderly pet who was in need of being helped to cross the rainbow bridge. I called and asked for services. They told me "we aren't accepting new patients" He wasn't going to be a patient. He was dying. He was going to be there one time, for maybe 15 minutes. The receptionist insisted that they wouldn't take him. Now, because of this, I am afraid that despite being called a hospital, if I brought a pet in who was experiencing a medical emergency that they'd refuse service. And I just can't take that chance. They won't see a 12.5 year old Golden, because she had not been back since her consultation with an oncologist. They recommened the oncolgist and she has not needed routine care since 2021, but feel this is justifcation for abandoning her as a patient. They are acting like my fully insured dogs and incredibly loved dogs are neglected. It was not a simple misunderstading, I explained the situation and they spoke to the owner who still refused! I have been loyal and have recommended people and now they refuse to see my dog, for reasons that make no sense. What kind of vet or person abandons an aging dog? Absolutely inhuman people. Here are the dogs you abandoned, you horrible people.

10/10 Experience – Highly Recommend! I recently took my sweet Shih Tzu to this vet, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, I was impressed. The staff is absolutely amazing – warm, friendly, and incredibly professional. The doctor was thorough and caring, taking the time to explain everything in detail and ensuring my girl felt comfortable throughout. The assistant was also fantastic, making the visit even smoother. The best part? It’s super affordable without compromising the quality of care. They’ve truly earned my trust, and I’m so excited to bring her brother in for his visit next. This place made my whole week, and I can’t recommend them enough!

Love love the staff and both doctors Alison Beaulieu and Janet Ziebur. Both doctors are so compassionate and caring towards our dogs. The staff is so nice and good with how they are with our pets. Would highly recommend this place for anyone who has pets. We even use the hotel for when we go away and never have to worry about the cate they are getting.
