Diamonds in the Ruff grooming Salon

My dogs 2nd experience with a groomer and she came out so soft and looked great. Needed my thick haired dog to be thinned out for summer and she looks great and I'm sure will feel good the next few weeks. Appreciate the service! Reasonable costs too!

Velda is a suburb groomer. My labradoodle was physically shaking when I took him to the previous groomer. Velda was very patient with my spoiled boy and now he doesn’t panic when we head to the shop.

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love my dog. She is like my child. I know that she is not easy when cutting her nails. (I have cute them myself). I have also taken her to other groomers and had them cut her nails and I have seen how difficult she can be. But I have also seen how gentle they are with her. I have also seen how they handle her nails, due to the type of breed she is and her nails growing long and her veins being long as well. Yes, groomers have knicked her before and she has bled. But nothing compared to the horror I watched today when taking my dog here. I have never seen someone handle an animal so roughly, as well as talk to an animal the way this groomer did. Would not recommend taking a puppy to her for grooming. Took my mother in law’s puppy in to have groomed for the first time and the lady acted like she didn’t want to do him when we walked in. He started shaking and growled once at the other dogs and she popped off with I don’t do aggressive dogs. We told her that he was just scared and just a puppy that had never been to a groomer and that he wasn’t aggressive. When my husband went to put him in the cage he growled one more time because of being scared and the other dogs. She said if he bites me your bill will be more. It was at that time we decided not to leave him alone there to be groomed. We found another place that was friendly and good to him. And they did a great job!! They understood that he was a puppy and it was his first time.
