Alison was referred to us by our friend who was also training under her. We were struggling to find a trainer who had the patience, kindness, and thoughtfulness to understand our reactive dog until we had a consultation with Alison. She took the time to go through our intake which was very comprehensive in getting to know you as the handler and your dog. We really appreciate Alison's perspective on our dog's reactivity that looked more at who he was as a whole and his environment and not just a "reactive dog" because it helped us understand his anxiety and triggers. Alison is an amazing dog trainer! Before working with her, our husky was very difficult—chewing shoes and furniture, having accidents in the house, and never listening. After just one session, we saw a huge difference. We chose her five-session whole dog package, and it did not disappoint. Alison is kind, patient, extremely informative, always on time, and incredibly skilled. She even allowed our second dog to sit in on one of the training sessions. Our husky is now one of the best listeners we could have hoped for. I highly recommend her and look forward to continuing sessions in the future.

Alison is fantastic! After our Zoom consultation, she hit the ground running in our first training session. She got to know my dog (who loves her now), worked on some specific issues i was having, and sent me a summary with all the things we did, hints about what adjustments helped, videos of her doing one thing with her dog, and a list of my dogs body language cues -- specific to my dog! She focuses entirely on my goals, no one size fits all, and she answers questions by email. And she's so kind and good with my baby. I love her!

Alison is such a great trainer and is a perfect match for me and my anxious puppy, Shiloh. Alison is confident and calm and is ready to adapt specific training protocols based on your individual dog and their needs. Shiloh absolutely loves her and I completely trust her judgement and experience. I booked the five pack training sessions and booked them spread out over 2-3 months. We learned so much! It was also really helpful to have an expert come in and validate what I have been learning about my dog and her personality. I will probably end up booking more time with her down the line after we've had some time to practice all of the skills she taught us. My dog and I have had such an incredible experience working with Alison on different manifestations of anxiety and reactivity. Most recently, she has been helping my dog adjust to a new human sibling. Alison is extremely knowledgable, empathetic, and supportive. She brings a calming presence into sessions that puts both me and my dog at ease. Alison listens deeply to my concerns/priorities and makes sure that they are all covered during sessions. She gives me hope and is also realistic about what training can do. Alison makes it clear through her work that she genuinely loves what she does. She provides concrete strategies and written resources to help with practice between sessions. I always feel such a sense of relief after a session with Alison. I cannot recommend her enough!
