Whether it’s a birthday, an adoptaversary, or a “just because” treat, they’ve got you covered. Every staff member is friendly, knowledgeable, and always gives my pup a treat, which Enzo absolutely loves. They have a dog bowl outside, a treat bar, and a great rewards program — super helpful if you buy the same products regularly since you can earn points or even snag a free item after a certain number of purchases. Dexter’s Deli in North Park is hands down one of the best pet stores I’ve ever been to! From high-quality natural pet food to unique toys and holistic pet care products, they have everything you could possibly need to keep your furry friend happy and healthy. The selection is amazing, and you can tell they truly care about the well-being of pets. What really sets them apart is their knowledgeable and friendly staff—they always go above and beyond to help with recommendations, whether it’s finding the perfect treat or discussing nutrition. I also love that they support local brands and offer plenty of healthy, raw, and organic options that you don’t find at big-box pet stores.

I went into this pet store a few days ago to grab food and a couple toys for my dog. Overall it was a pretty decent experience. The place was clean and organized, and it didn’t feel overwhelming like some pet stores do. Staff was friendly enough and answered my question about dog treats without trying to upsell me on stuff I didn’t need. Prices seemed fair, not the cheapest but reasonable for the quality. My dog ended up loving the toy I picked out, so that’s always a win. I’d say it’s a solid spot if you need pet supplies without any hassle.

I love coming here for my girls birthday cakes 🎂! I have 3 pups and come here to spoil them 3 times a year! Also, love their buffet of chew treats and snacks from duck and chicken necks, to bully sticks and cod sticks and so much more! I had my heart intent on buying quite a few chew treats and I'm never disappointed coming here for just that. Their birthday pup cakes are freezer ready when you come so there is no wait. Definetly puppy heaven for my fur babies fun and taste buds! Dexter's is a quaint pet store with quality appeal. Kevin & Charlie are great people, too. 🩷
