Desert Sky K9 is amazing! Gail and Vince completely transformed my Husky, Koda. His transformation was truly night and day. Before coming to Desert Sky, Koda was from a shelter and was very reactive and had aggression towards food, as well as a dominance issue. We sent our 15-week-old Dalmatian puppy for a 3 week board and train with Gale and Vincent, and I truly cannot believe the transformation. He came back a completely new pup in the best way. He’s calm, well tempered, walks amazing on leash without pulling or biting it, and actually understands and listens to commands now. Beyond the incredible results, Gale and Vincent are genuinely kind, patient, and caring people. You can tell they truly love what they do and care deeply about the dogs they work with. Leaving your puppy is never easy, but we felt confident and at peace knowing he was in such good hands. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our dog going forward. Gail and Vincent were able to take my rescue dog Lucky last minute when I desperately needed it. I was initially supposed to drop him off at Robs Dogs ( I do not recommend them if you have a rescue with aggression). The staff at Robs did not know how to approach my dog and told me he was a liability. I brought Lucky to Gail and Vincent and they knew exactly how to handle my rescue. Vincent is very knowledgeable and experienced. I’ve never seen my dog take onto a complete stranger so effortlessly before. Gail is absolutely the sweetest. She was understanding so warm and kind. We trusted Gail and Vincent with our little Lloyd and I’m so happy we did. They treat you like family, you can call anytime for updates and they post photos of progress. Lloyd is a rescue so I definitely didn’t want to add more trauma to his life. They promise no shock collars. They use positive reinforcement and it helped build his confidence tremendously. We brought our 6 month old blue nose Enzo to Desert Sky K9 for the three week board and training. After our consultation with them we were 100% about who we were about to leave our boy with. They showed caring, compassion and love for dogs. After the three weeks we are happy to say Desert Sky K9 did exactly what they said they would. Enzo is attentive and obedient, doesn’t bite or play aggressive no more. Does his commands on point and is just an all out good boy. Enzo is still fun and playful just not so aggressive.
