Del Rio Animal Shelter

These people are incompetent and are terrible at catching dogs.

They are a great facility with great staff. They handle a lot of cases and work integrally with the Del Rio community. I just wanted to post their visiting/showing hours since it’s not online: * Monday & Wednesday: 1PM to 4:30PM * Saturday: 10AM to 12PM

I found a dog that was severely injured. I took herhhome, cared for it over night, then took her to the animal shelter. The dog catcher I met with was absolutely willing to help make the dog comfortable and the woman who runs the place basically went out of her way to make sure the dog found a good home. Hell of a good job by the staff!

These people are incompetent and worthless. I went to rescue an animal. They told me to leave my name and number and come back, and when I did, they shipped it off, KNOWING I wanted the animal.

Nice caring people who work there. There are so many dogs waiting for someone, to take them home. I am glad I went and found my forever little friend.
