Del Mar Veterinary Hospital

We had just arrived from NC to start a month long stay in St Augustine when our 10 yr old labradoodle began to vomit uncontrollably. We searched for a vet and found Del Mar - down the road from where we were staying. They immediately agreed to see Daisy, the staff, Emma, Rebecca Vet Tech and Dr. Nieves were so kind and attentive. They clearly love their jobs and animals they treat. They quickly resolved a very scary situation. Dr. Nieves was thorough, checked with our Vet NC and diagnosed the problem. Daisy recovered quickly and we are relieved. We were luck to find such a good Vet Practice and so nice to experience great service and care. Keep up the good work.

Visited this Animal Hospital with a sick Yorkie (pancreatitis). I have to say that the people and especially Emma and Rebecca who are very attentionate and take the time to listen to you. They are a great team. Attention to details is obvious in all the steps along the way, including the facility which is very clean and welcoming. I would not hesitate to recommend this location even if you're travelling from out of town like us. All of them will stay in our hearts for ever.

I was really pleased with the care my Boston Terrier received when I took her in as an emergency I was put into a room and seen immediately Dr and nurses took great care of her I would definitely recommend this veterinary office

I can't recommend this place enough!!!!! The staff are all amazing and when I say that there is not one person I have met that is not kind and attentive to the dogs and their parents I mean it. Also, being able to bring my dogs and not worry about interaction with other pets alleviates my fear of going to vets. My dogs are the sweetest, but put them on a leash and around another dog and things get sticky - they love ever person they meet and if they aren't on a leash interact with other dogs. I love that I don't feel shamed about this here. Also for an example of the top tier service is we travel, I reached out because I messed up and did not bring enough of my dogs meds from their VA doctor, they coordinated with my Vet and got the meds same day. Del Mar is the ONLY vet I would trust with my babies. I am a foster mom and I have had many animals come through my house. Del Mar is always caring, compassionate, communicative, helpful and truly invested in the health and happiness of my animals. They have treated approximately 12 animals for me and I have never experienced this type of care. They are a fear free Veterinary clinic and they take that pledge seriously. For example, I had a nursing foster dog develop Mastitis late at night during a hurricane. We live on an island that was closed off so I didn’t expect to hear from them for days.
