Dearing Veterinary Clinic is one of the best veterinary clinics in Abilene. The staff is very friendly and professional. The doctor explained everything to me in detail. They treated Boone (my dog) with the proper medications and made it so that Boone was not as nervous as he could have been. I highly recommend Dearing Veterinary Clinic to anyone that wants a personal and professional treatment for their dog or cat. Their prices were very reasonable.

After my vet of over 20 years retired and that clinic went downhill in terms of quality and passionate care of my pets, I took my cats to Dr. Walker with Dearing Vet after a recommendation from a long-time family friend. Two spays handled professionally, compassionately, and with the smallest, cleanest incision I have seen in a long time on both cats. One kitten taken in for health issues, handled beautifully and with the utmost care for both my cat and myself. Dr. Walker was happy to answer any questions and listen to all of my concerns. She is now a happy, healthy, playful kitten. Our dog has always been well taken care of at this vet clinic. From acute medical issues to aging and end of life care. We had to put our family dog of 13 years down recently. They made this process smooth and were extremely thoughtful during this. I highly recommend them if you’re in the Abilene area!

Dearing has always taken the best care of our dogs, are timely on their appointments, and love everyone’s animals just like their own. When we took one to be put to sleep, the respect, patience, and honor of our dog was above and beyond anything I’ve seen. A week later, we received a signed card with a paw print of our dog, including a donation made on behalf of our dog. My puppy was recently spayed. She got excellent care, and I got communication via txt through the day of her progress. The staff has always been kind and up front about cost and treatment.
