Dawg Squad

I love the Dawg Squad. Carole, the volunteers, the dogs, the adopters, etc. are all so great! I have met some of my most favorite dogs through this group. I fully support them and volunteer my time because they are all so deserving and and do wonderful work!

I would also give negative stars if I could. Some of the rudest communication I have ever had to deal with. I emailed looking for help for a dog timid pitbull that would be euthanized if taken to the shelter, especially during times like these. They did not offer to network or help in anyway, just told me to take him to west LA shelter where they are euthanizing everyday due to being so overwhelmed (my heart goes out to those at the shelter trying their best, this is not a jab at them). I then said I was appalled by the response as if you genuinely cared about a dogs wellbeing you would not send one to the shelter, even if there was a possibility of euthanasia. I sent a 4 sentence email stating that and telling her thank you for your time and to have a nice day. To which they made the cons

I have 2 dogs from Dawg Squad. The amount of effort they put into finding these dogs homes, it's no wonder they're placing dogs pretty much every single day! Just look at their social media! I have no idea where the negative reviews came from but they must not have very much experience adopting dogs because Dawg Squad does amazing work!

I have adopted 2 dogs at different times from Carole/DawgSquad. I love these folks. They were careful to adopt out the right dog to the right household. They were careful and proactive in making sure my new adoptees would blend with my other furry family member and that I had the right home set up for caring for my furry pack. These folks are dedicated and experienced. They take on dogs with medical issues who may or may not get adopted, but they have a large and loving foster network to help these doggies live their best life out of a shelter. I very much appreciate Carole and all who are part of Dawg Squad!

We just adopted our daughter, the sweetest pup ever, from Dawg Squad. Carole is a dream to work with. She has a fantastic, honest approach and was (and still is) so attentive and accessible with any questions or concerns we had. We really appreciate her and everything her rescue does.
