Thank goodness we found David! He has been a true godsend and amazing dog trainer for our recently rescued 150lb english mastiff who is 6yo, and our 105lb saint bernard pup. We had originally put them both in a 4week board and train program elsewhere, and when we got them back, it was clear that no proper training had been done and unfortunately they seemed to have learned some new bad habits and regressed (they did right by us though and did fully refund us). Our english mastiff we suspect was used for her first 6 years of life to breed multiple litters of puppies and was discarded when she was of no use to the breeders. I’ve been doing private lessons with David on a regular basis for the past couple of months now and I can’t imagine how life with my dog would’ve been without David’s help. And the changes are so in my dog’s behaviors (reactive and aggressive before training) and obedience are so visible that even my friends and family commented on it! After extensive research to find a service animal trainer, I found Dave. All the research and vetting various trainers was well worth it. Dave truly understands how to train dogs without using electric shock and how to educate the owner. I highly recommend, Dave. I truly don't think you can find a better trainer.

I cannot speak more highly of David’s training services and incredible care for my dachshund, Cosmo. After working with various trainers for years with no success addressing Cosmo’s behavioral issues, we were beginning to lose hope when we finally found David. Cosmo began with an intensive 3 week board and train program, and she was truly a different dog by the end of it (still her same loving silly personality, but disciplined, confident, and so much more comfortable around large dogs and children). Now she trains with David routinely, and I can’t believe her progress each week. David’s approach to training has been the answer for us, and I could not recommend him enough - especially as someone who has worked with many different trainers in the past and continued to see no progress.
