Customer Reviews
This is the cleanest animal shelter I've been to. It is always nicely decorated for holidays. The staff seem a bit chaotic at times. They need to focus on one task at a time instead of starting multiple things, as it is frustrating as potential pet adopters to feel ignored, or at a loss for answers to our questions. That being said, we did adopt a new dog, named her Lutta, and she's awesome. We were offered a foster to adopt situation, as the spay and neuter appointments are scheduling far out. We chose to adopt outright and wait for them to contact us for a future spay operation date. We were given a cool Halloween adoption kit with several squeaky toys, snacks and a Chewbaru Outbark car toy that our dogs love. Overall, I'd recommend checking out the animals here.
Im giving 3 stars because their jobs are not easy and very emotionally taxing, on top of the how they help the community. Besides it wouldnt be fair for the animals there to be overlooked as a result of the staffs incompetent communication skills. I emailed them to check on a dog who was taken in as the family situation he came from is on the mend and the children of this family were worried. I had to repeat information several times, not to mention the callousness of their responses. I called 36 times and never got a call back. A family member called 28 times back to back, trying each extensions before reaching someone. As the first line of defense to an animals chance at a new beginning, it is so important these communications are handled in a reverant and compassionate manner, which the
The staff here is very friendly and kind. You can tell they truly love animals and want to find them a great home. I'd recommend going to the shelter as soon as you see a pet you like online, that way you can put in an inquiry for them or just to see if you can adopt/meet that animal that day. I was fortunate enough to find a hypoallergenic dog that the shelter named Cream Cheese. My boyfriend and I renamed him Alfredo. One of the staff members even asked if they could take a picture of Alfredo and myself to put on their social media. He is such a perfect addition to our lives.
Staff was nice lots of dogs and cats to look at. I was looking at adoption a different dog but it was in foster care so I looked at the dogs they had. I met baily now red and fell in love
Very nice and very clean . Unfortunately the pup we went to get was adopted out an hour before we got there . I hope he is happy 🙂
