Cuttle Fish and Corals

I can’t say enough good things about the team at Cuttlefish and Corals. A little back story.. My previous relationship resulted in a reef tank being put in my living room. Unfortunately my ex is a raging narcissist and I was stuck with this tank when we broke up. I finally had convinced him to get this tank out of my house after he heard I was trying to sell it, because I had decided to move out of state. He showed up for the corals and fish and was due to come back the next day with his tank guy to move the tank. However, because I had denied his multiple advances he decided to tell me “good lucking getting that tank out of your house” and that was that. Pete and Jeff and the rest of the team helped me everytime I came in asking questions and trying to give me enough knowledge to keep

This place is located in a newer building which was a nice change of scenery compared to the other saltwater fish stores I’ve been to. I really liked how the tanks were organized by how much the corals in the tanks cost the guy I spoke to was very knowledgeable and patient even though he seemed a very busy. this place is dog friendly as well. So 10/10 would come back again with my dog when I’m in town

I go to Cuttlefish about 3/4 days of the week. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. It is the best saltwater store in the northwest. Vast amount of corals and fish of every kind. I get a lot of fish and corals from here. Worth a visit even if you don’t have a salt water tank.

I love this store. I love the employee’s passion and enthusiasm for their craft. When I come on new fish day, the owner loves to show me all of the curious or beautiful creatures he has gotten in. They have been more than fair with replacing fish or taking back bad tank mates. It is also the cleanest and most beautiful fish store in Portland. I haven’t gotten a single sick fish, coral, or invertebrate from them.

The employees here are amazing. They always treat my husband and I great. We are just getting into salt water aquariums and they answer all the questions. They even will answer just random and curious questions that we have. Not once have we gone in and felt neglected just because we don't spend a lot.
