Custom Canine Companion

Custom Canine Companion has been such blessing to our family! We use them for boarding, doggy daycare, grooming, transportation and training. All of their services have exceeded our expectations, and more importantly they treat our dogs like family! The care they provide, communication, and ease of their app make Custom Canine Companion our only consideration for our dogs’ needs. We cannot recommend them enough.

We found Michael and Alexis through one of our neighbors when I commented on how well behaved their dog was and I am so glad that we did! Michael is a very passionate, talented and knowledgeable trainer and has trained both of our girls through their board and train program - which is no small task for a high energy husky mix and lab mix. It has been life changing to have peace of mind when it comes to being able to take them in public places and be off leash - knowing that we have clear ways to communicate with them. Michael and Alexis also take care of them like their own - there is truly no better place in Nashville to entrust such special members of your family.

Absolutely Amazing – We Won’t Go Anywhere Else! We moved to TN about six months ago and were nervous about finding a new place to board our dogs. Back home, we had a trusted spot, and leaving that behind was tough. We have two German Shepherds and a Golden Retriever, and one of our Shepherds is dog-reactive, which made the search even more stressful. After doing a ton of research, I came across Custom Canine Companion and decided to give them a call. I spoke with Alexis, who was so kind and understanding. I explained our situation, and she immediately made me feel at ease. She reassured me that they had experience with reactive dogs and that our pups would be in great hands. Michael, Alexis and all the staff at Custom Canine Companion are wonderful! They make us feel at ease when we have to leave Rex for boarding. They care so much about him! We are grateful they are here and you can tell they love what they do.

Michael helped us several times with our reactive English Bulldog. Helped us get his behavior under control and gave us tools to be practicing outside of our sessions together. I can now take Moose on a walk throughout the neighborhood with minimal reaction to other people and little reaction to other dogs. Still using his techniques a year later!
