worst shelter. always rude about strays. i found a dog on hwy 19. this road runs completely through cuba. instead of asking questions they quickly dismissed me. "we dont have jurisdiction past TA. its not our problem." I never told them i found him past TA. only said hwy 19. thats just them being LAZY PEOPLE. im convinced these pathetic people are trained to be rude and crass this happens all the time. Jump to conclusions all because they were close to closing and wanted to go home. these people dont care about animals. in fact they will tell you. "we can refuse any animal we are private." im literally just trying to get a stray help. i have a sibling who works for Kansas city animal shelter. i checked and made sure i was told the right thing to do. unprofessional. uninspired. unimportant

Are you kidding me couldn't really tell us much about 3 dogs and when we went to where the dogs were one growled at us. What's even worse it smelled in there too. There was pee in there and only 3 dogs and only one person working there when there should have been at least 2 there working especially if you gotta take the dogs outside for bathroom break. Seen a sign stating I believe water break and just flat wrong on how it smelled. Won't go there again. I was very disappointed in the place and the woman who was there.

Cuba Animal Control took my emotional support animal and illegally adopted him out to a third party behind my back without my knowledge and didn’t even let me know. They had him for months while I was unlawfully detained after filing a federal report against an officer and out of retaliation they destroyed my life and worked with multiple people to make it happen. Instead of working with me when I kindly asked them to contact the person that adopted him to set up a meeting, they decided to block me in an effort to keep me silenced about the situation on social media. These people just violated the Fair Housing Act and my American Bully is documented as my ESA, which I raised since he was just 3 months old. Now they call the person they adopted him out to as his “new daddy.” No attempt on

Very pleased with the animal that I got which was a dog. His name is Buster. I'm medium Pinscher mix kind of a miniature. Very loving animal the people were great and it feels good to help animals out. The place was nice and clean and every time I went there they were always caring for the animals walking and I noticed they all had food and water at all times. Good work folks keep it up. You make a lot of people's families happy out there.
