Crowley Animal Shelter

From the time I got out the car the first member that greeted me was very passive aggressive & acted like she did not want to assist with surrendering my dog. I scheduled an appointment came at my appointment time & the whole experience felt unwelcoming. Very nice nasty & she let me know several times how full they were to keep me from surrendering my dog. Then said they would kill him just bc they don’t have the room. The worst experience ever

I recently adopted my 5 month old cat, Boba from this shelter, and I had a wonderful experience! The employees are SO caring and devoted to these animals. Even as they undergo a transition period in their staffing, the process was communicative, professional, and friendly! I would recommend this shelter to any friend. We absolutely love our Boba Cat.❤️

They have a wonderful staff. I got my handsome baby cat from there and everything was easy because of them. Thank you girls!! You're doing an amazing job!!

We got our dog Rex from Crowley Animal Shelter and they are a nice bunch of people who actually care for the animals they are trying to get to adoptive families. Plus the fact that they charge almost nothing in adoption fees makes this the place to go if you are wanting a pet. Update: we got a second little terror from CAS and he is a little cutie and a great playmate for our Rexie. He is a handful but we love our Barron also.

This shelter is the best place ever. It isn't like the usual depressing shelters like Ft. Worth. It is clean and the staff love the dogs and cats in their care. I adopted a kitten on clear the shelter day and it was an awesome experience. I wish all shelters were this caring about the animals and friendly. They sent home a bag with some kitten food, a cat toy, lots of other goodies.
