Crossroads Veterinary Hospital

I have seen the vets here through the rescue I work with and they have been excellent. Very willing to take it slow and go at the dog’s pace. When requested they were more than happy to do all their injections and work ups in the exam room with me present. One of my fosters REALLY struggles at the vet and they go above and beyond to make sure she feels safe and comfortable even when it comes to drop-off procedures. I wish this standard of care was the norm everywhere but I’m so grateful we had it here!

Honestly I’ve gone here for 5 years and I’ve always given them the benefit of the doubt with my pets and trusted them with both of them since they were puppies…. They have multiple times given me the wrong quote on prices and once the procedure was done it was $100 more let’s say because of a complication with the neuter or more difficult. Another time they forgot to charge me for the medication after the procedure had to refund me charge me again and then call again to say they forgot an additional $30. I’ve taken my dog multiple times for an ear infection and same time the same spray or injection they give him and not really a permanent solution or help just a quick 30 min visit. I’ve been taking my fur baby here for grooming for about 6 months. Leanna does such a fantastic job with him. He’s a nervous guy but she’s so good with him and his anxious behavior. He always looks so cute too! I won’t bring him anywhere else.

Almost one year ago, 12-12-2024 my husband and I took our beloved 15 year old rescued beagle, Scooter, to Crossroads Vet for the ‘last gift’ we could give him. With a heavy heart we decided it was time to keep our promise to Scooter we would not let him suffer and it was time to say good bye. We made an appt with Crossroads Vet to do that. We were put into a room and a vet and asst came in. We had to do this with other pets and it was a very peaceful and sad experience. In this case the vet asked the vet tech to hold him and she injected him with the first shot and my heart stopped…Scooter let out an excruciating scream that will stay with me forever. Best vets around and great prices. They've been taking care of our dog babies for almost twenty years. They've helped us with new additions to our family and we're compassionate when we lost them. Highly recommend!
